How to find the perfect flowers for your wedding

It is always important to find a florist you can relate to and understands your ideas and the ‘look’ you are wanting to create. At Vigars we are organised, creative, offer ideas and are excellent  communicators.

Gather together all the pictures, magazine clippings, colour samples, invites and anything else you are wanting to be all on the same colour scheme on your wedding day, put all these into a folder and bring it into us when you have made some sort of decision on what style, shape, size, colour. Flowers, effect and theme you are wanting to create, this will make our  job a lot easier and wont be as stressful for you.  Keep in mind flowers do have there seasons, although almost everything is available all your round, things that are not in season at that particular time are more expensive.

It is best to try and book your bouquets between three to four months ahead of your wedding for  you to have a preference over that date. Every bride has different needs so we at Vigars do individual quotes to suit your specific needs.

We will require details of you wedding day, such as delivery times that are appropriate for you and the location of which you want the flowers taken too.

ARMSHEAF         

This bouquet is generally selected for a more casual look

TEARDROP

This fully wired bouquet is an alternative choice to a posy or trailing as this combines the two styles

POSY  

A popular choice with brides as it is easy to hold and can double as a bridal table arrangement when placed in a vase

TRAILING

For the traditional bride wanting a large and lush display of Flowers extending almost to the floor. This bouquet is fully wire

BUTTONHOLESButtonhole flowers traditionally identify those in the bridal party and are worn by the groom, the best man, the groomsmen, the father of the bride and the father of the groom
CORSAGESCorsages can be pinned to the wearer's dress or blouse, worn on the wrist in a bracelet form or attached to a purse or bag. If possible, corsages should match the colour or flowers of the bridal party, although they should primarily complement the wearer and her outfit
HAIR FLOWERS
To add to your glamorous look you can choose fragrant flowers delicately placed in your hair and topknot, or wear a 'floral tiara' for a fresh look
