• Use a clean vase

• Use fresh water

• Strip leaves from base of stems before placing in vase

• Trim bottoms of stems diagonally on a 45 degree angle

• Change water in vases every three days

• Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, draughts and heat

•  If roses arrive with a water source on the stems please remove before placing in vase.

Arrangements

If your flowers arrive in a box or ceramic container it is important to top up daily or when required with clean fresh water.

Roses

If a rose head should start to droop at the head, re-cut stem on the diagonal and place in fresh water, as this will help remove any air pockets in the stem.
